If I Could Go Back In Time . . .

I would wish I could have been there - for both concerts. Top 5 song easy.

She's A Cute One

So helpless,
We're slaves to our impulses,
We're afraid of our emotions.
And when no one knows where the shore is,
We're divided by the oceans . . .

Back from Africa

Went to Swaziland, Africa, on a humanitarian relief trip to build a dairy/cow farm for the village of Nsintadje. Africa is a beautiful place, and the people are so friendly. Unfortunately, many of them live in poverty as everyone already knows.

Had a lot to digest and exhale so I went surfing for 4 hours today. Good times.

Billy's Hymn

He's done it again. Zeitgeist isn't his best album, but there are those couple of songs that redeem the entire album and make it all worthwhile. As for me, it continues to amaze me how versatile the Smashing Pumpkins can be. I've known about Billy's religious side and his past spiritual struggles but to capture it the way that he does with music and prose is a gift uniquely his a la "Stellar" (my favorite). Can't wait to see them in concert.

"Is it wrong to say . . . there's God and then there's Faith?" - Billy Corgan
